EXPECTATIONS
The Boettcher Foundation holds its Scholars in high esteem, and the Foundation has high expectations for you in the future. You were selected as one of Colorado's best and brightest, and we want to see you shine. Therefore, we have established minimum standards we feel our Scholars should maintain.
Ordinarily, the normal term of the Scholarship is four years. However, at the end of each academic semester/quarter your record will be reviewed. Renewal of Scholarships is at the discretion of the Boettcher Foundation, but is primarily based on the following requirements being met each year:

- Complete a minimum of 12 hours (or 4 blocks) each semester/quarter
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Submit a 1-2 page "Narrative" reviewing the past academic year (and highlighting service and extra-curricular activities) to the Foundation by June 15th of each year
These three requirements serve only as a basis from which to build your college years. The Boettcher Foundation would like to promote an all-around education for its Scholars. As a result, the Foundation also strongly encourages its Scholars to participate in volunteer service to the community, research opportunities and internships to enhance their future career options.
